   Confronting AI, we need to cope with drastic development of AI and our practice will be changed fundamentally.
   Also, drastically increasing risks of disasters caused by elevated temperature on the earth threaten the lives of the people and existing industrial and social systems worldwide.
   Innovative solutions are required to overcome the risks, such as a renewable energy system, an energy-saving operation system, a disaster-resistant system as well as a new communication system for realizing the new systems.
   The problems every country and the world are facing are common and deeply interrelated each other. This nature will require fundamental changes to the existing systems.
   The intellectual property including patents, designs, trademarks and copyrights should be accommodated to promote such innovations.
   The author has proposed a new alternative patent system in which the application is kept secret until grant upon request, called “alternative non-publication route”, Patent Vol.78, 2025 No.5 p33.
   We are honored to contribute to the development in every field of the technology through protection of the IP rights.
